UK TV makes the perfect gift this Christmas!

The perfect way to gift-wrap the seasonal period

It’s already the final month of the year and colder days have most certainly reach the British Isles. However, with less than three weeks until Christmas, there’s plenty of fabulous television entertainment to keep us warm throughout the festive period and beyond. Things are really cooking up this month and with many expats abroad, this is the time of year when the heart longs for a good old fashion British Xmas with all the trimmings back home. And that includes UK television of course!

If you know someone who is based abroad this time of year and really misses the world’s best television, why not give them the gift of UK television? It makes the perfect present and with prices starting as little as £3.99 a month, it’s the best deal any Black Friday bargain hunter or shopaholic could ever wish for.

Here’s a taster of what’s coming up this month so if you want to get yourself, a friend or a loved one connected to the best festive TV, join us today and take advantage of our amazing prices!

Unmissable Christmas soaps and dramas!

Every year, the soaps take us on a roller-coaster ride and for sure, this year won’t be any different. There’s always a disaster waiting to happen on Albert Square in Eastenders; the drama is just as chaotic up north on Coronation Street and there’s of course the other nations favourites Emmerdale, Hollyoaks plus the Aussie duo of Neighbours and Home & Away to keep us glued to our seats.

For fans of the poshest family in Britain, we’re promised another Christmas Special of Downton Abbey which is said to feature none other than a cameo appearance by George Clooney and for once, will actually be set at Christmas, this time spending the season with the newly-weds Rose and Atticus.

Sci-fi fans of Doctor Who will also be pleased to learn there’s a seasonal special in order. Clara returns to the Tardis alongside Peter Capaldi’s tetchy Doctor, but is it just for one last, climactic send-off? Of course we wouldn’t want to spoil it for you now would we! Suffice to say that it all takes place in the Arctic, Nick Frost plays Father Christmas and Michael Troughton, son of 1960s Time Lord Patrick Troughton, also features.

But don’t wait until Christmas to watch these as there’s still some great telly on right now that you don’t want to miss…

Pre-Christmas crackers to whet the appetite

If you’re quick and order your system in time, you’ll be able to catch some great reality TV this weekend.

Strictly is about to dance it’s way into the semis. We’re only three weeks from the final and most of the contestants are exhausted, with the celebrities spending more time than ever in the training room, with every hour of rehearsal a step closer to that glitterball trophy. This weekends heats are bound to say farewell to a surprise couple no doubt. Catch the show live at 7.00pm, this Saturday 6 December on BBC1.

Plus don’t forget to see the final of I’m a Celebrity on Sunday at 9.00pm on ITV. After three hilarious weeks of watching this year’s batch of wannabes brave it through bushtucker trials, share their sleeping bags with creepy-crawlies and discover their fellow campmates’ irritating habits, the time has come to crown the 14th King or Queen of the Jungle. Will it be Sykes or Foggie, or maybe a dark horse outsider? Who knows! Just tune in to find out…

Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without Jamie…

And last but by no means very least, we wouldn’t enjoy the festive season without enduring some mouthwatering, comfort food Christmas recipes from the nations favourite chef.

Jamie’s Christmas dinner alternatives; Beef Wellington and Goose, look so delicious and easy to make that turkeys will queuing up to thank him. There’s also a beautiful bread and butter panettone pudding, a pair of cheeky Chrimbo cocktails and a couple of slightly complicated but tasty-looking recipes for all those leftovers; including a curry and some steamed goose buns, Korean-style.

Hmmm… sounds lovely. So your best bet is to tune in on Monday, 8 December on Channel 4 at 8.00pm.
